FetLife, a Community for Kinksters…

FetLife comes at a time when the Internet is full of Social Network and so called community sites, it seems as though a new one launches every week and even existing, non-community sites, have begun adding social networking and community tools to their web sites in the form of profile pages, personal blogs, post walls etc…

FetLife however is the first social networking site for Kinksters and people in pursuit of BDSM interests, it is essentially a Facebook that serves the Kinky community in a way no other site has managed to do successfully.

I started working on FetLife in October of 2007 and launched the website January 3rd, 2008. I have been working my tail off ever since I first envisioned FetLife and want to make sure that FetLife becomes the best community, dare I even say social network, for anyone who is kinky or has a fetish. FL clearly has all the basis covered, it is very similar to Facebook in design and a lot simpler than the evil MySpace, it is worth checking out.

Nation of Prudes

The lack of a serious, commercial adult industry in the U.K saddens me and not only makes the pursuit of a career in adult entertainment more expensive but way more difficult than in other countries, notably the United States.

An industry isn’t non-existent on our little Island but it is definitely smaller and more restricted than it’s International counter parts, this all adds to what makes it one of the smallest adult industries in the World. Also, there are fewer, practically none, advisory entities such as; legal professions specialising in this area of industry, medical professionals like AIM and adult DVD shops are very few and far between.

It seems that so much of our legislation these days in the UK comes from existing American Law, though heavily changed, Our Government has still literally ‘borrowed’ it from across the Atlantic. Yet we fail to see adult entertainment as a viable business and still treat it with a certain level of disdain, we fail to protect it and we fail to see the value of offering the U.K up as a platform for the continued growth and distribution of adult entertainment.

Are we still a nation of prudes?

…and is pornography any more ‘dangerous’ and ‘corrupting’ of Society than Alcohol and Tobacco – industries we have welcomed with open arms, largely due to the revenue it brings our Government, despite they’re enormous effects on our health.

Coming Clean

I recently confided in one of my parents after weeks and weeks of my Dad asking to look at some of the photos I have taken. I had been wanting to ‘come clean’ if you like for awhile, it’s not nice to bend the truth and omit certain details of my single, most enjoyable hobby. After a night out with friends, I used the alcohol as an excuse to blurt it out…

I felt the need to elaborate and illustrate that it’s not a glamour site and that the content on the site is adult content.

I’m not too sure if he’s just expecting photos but he’ll also probably discover the harder videos and if he reads the copy, or in deed this blog entry, he may discover my true ambition – to set up and run an adult production company!

Stoya is Leaving Digital Playground…

Who knew? Much like Teagan Pressley before her, Stoya has decided to part ways with Digital Playground, if her Twiiter post is anything to go by.

Boldly Arriving…

This Aint Star Trek XXX, weirdley captures the extreme close ups, acting and expressions many trek fans endured for four years and now remember fondly as the golden age of the trek franchise, of the original Series.

Space, the Ultimate Frontier. These are the journeys of the Starship Enterprise, our mission; to explore new worlds, to peacefully unite, blend merge with strange new lifeforms, to boldly arrive again and again where no man has cum before…

The parody takes place almost entirely aboard the Enterprise and to be quite honest I would like to have seen some of the good old away missions to strange new lands captured here. The away missions and Planet exploration was something that I always loved in the TV shows.

Having said that though, i’m not necessarilly one for watching ‘plot-point’ porn, i like them, enjoy them and appreciate the skill and scale of the producer’s vision and ambition but i’d rather just watch fucking if i’m tuning in to a porn film. The parodies are slightly different to the likes of Pirates and other plot-based porn flicks, mainly because they know what they are and never attempt to take themselves seriously.

Jenna Haze is absoloutely awesome, I could not keep count of how many times she refered to Tony Desergio as Vulcan and his ‘rare vulan cum.’ That was hot, if not a little weird and bizarre.

I’m Still Around…

Yes, unfortunately my site is still disabled for the time being. I want to make sure I’ve rectified a lot of the ‘dodgy’ coding and removed a lot of the uneeded content that I was playing around with at the time of designing it.

A quick udate on where I am in terms of shooting, June 6th is now June 5th and the models are Katie K and another, as yet undecided, model due to Natalia being unable to make the shoot for the new date. I then go on holiday and will resume shooting after June 27th.
